We have a mailing list! Sign up to stay up to date with our work, events and community engagement, and progress on our work throughout South Yorkshire to build flood and climate Resilience.
Flood Wardens play an invaluable role in helping communities at risk of flooding. You could share information and local knowledge, and act as a link between residents, local government, and the Environment Agency.
Becoming a Flood Warden is a chance to make a difference to your community, make new friends, learn new skills and use old ones.
No experience is required, just a willingness to get involved. Training and support are provided.
You can volunteer for an existing group in South Yorkshire or form a new group. Contact YorkshireFloodResilience@environment-agency.gov.uk to find out more.
